Thursday Dream Scheme's - Sketch Challenge

This is my take on this week's challenge. I used the seashells border (LL 536 ) For the background I rouged in Adirondack shell pink and then I also distressed the edge of the paper. Next I used the Sand Dollar stencil I rouged in Adirondack Hazelnut and the pasted with Dreamweaver Translucent Paste, then sprinkled a little crystal glitter or the wet paste. I hand printed "Listen" in the corner. I added Hero Arts Dots in the upper left corner and bordered the card w/ Spica Atyou glitter pen - Sand. I hope you are all having a fun summer and If you would like to get creative and play along Go to the Dream IT Up blog and use Mr. Linky to add your creation. Now don't forget to go to the other design team blogs to check out the fabulous creations that have been created.

  3. Perfect card to complement your blog banner. It would also be lovely framed and set on a desk top or book shelf. Hmmm . . . more ideas!

  4. Love the soft "beach cottage" feel of this card. Of course, being another California girl, gotta love the entire collection of Lynell's beach-themed designs. The shimmer on that sand dollar is exquisite.

  5. This is so soft and pretty! Very nice. Hey, Pam, I am a Michigander, but still love the ENTIRE collection of beach themed designs--especially the ocean themed ones, like the Starfish, Sea Turtle and Seahorse.

  7. Wonderful card Georgia. Sand dollars are one of my favorite things to look for when we go to the shore (as people in the east call it!).
