Our challenge this month is Summer Fun and what's more fun then the beach. I have been looking at my paper this week trying to decide what I was going to do. I found this fun paper in my stash from Graphic 45 called Oceania. It's from the Tropical Travelogue collection. Now that I picked the paper it was time to decide what stencils to use I decided on the Sand Dollar (LS12), The Nautilus (LS 4) and the Sea Turtle (LM 179). I stencil the nautilus and the sand dollar onto Coordinations Color Core card stock (Harbor) with Stampin UP's Whisper White Pigment ink. When the ink was dry I ran the sea turtle stencil through my big shot to dry emboss it onto the paper, then I sanded with a sanding block, letting the core color show through. I layer it all together. Then I added 3 Aqua rhinestones and I used navy twine to tie on the little shovel and bucket charm. I'm hoping that while my boss is on vacation next week that maybe I can get in a little beach time. I hope everyone is having a great summer.
Don't forget to play along with our challenge, You could win a great new stencil.
