Black, White and a pop of Color
Well this is the last May challenge, this week I chose one of the new stencils being released LG 745 - tree line. I used the double glitter technique. The first thing I did was soap my stencil with Coconut vegetable soap. I then placed the stencil on the double-sided mounting paper. I used silver and crystal glitter for the background, then I turned the stencil down on the table and take the paper off the stencil that way I don't bend the stencil. Once that was done I poured my black glitter over the sticky paper to cover the trees. I just wish that the picture was better. I then layered the glittered image onto a green layer of card stock and then added a green tulle bow. I then layered this to the black gingham card. This was really a fun card to do. Join us next month when we are challenged with Double Glitter cards and/or wedding themed cards. We will be using Art Institute glitter for are challenge.
